The NAIA requires prospective student-athletes to meet minimum guidelines to be eligible to participate in NAIA athletics. It is important for prospective student-athletes to become knowledgeable early on in the recruiting process to prepare them for admissions requirements.
The NAIA requires a prospect freshman student athlete to be a graduate from an accredited high school or be accepted as a regular student in good standing as defined by the enrolling institution as well as meeting two of the three following requirements:
- Achieve a minimum score of 18 on the ACT or 860 on the SAT.
- Achieve a minimum high school grade point average of 2.0 on a 4.0 grading scale.
- Graduate in the top half of your high school class.
