NAIA and NJCAA Scholarship Options

Today we take a look at the scholarship options at the NAIA and NJCAA (Junior College) level.

NAIA

NAIA Division I programs are limited to 11 full basketball scholarships while NAIA Division II programs are limited to 6 full basketball scholarships. Similar to NCAA Division II, many NAIA institutions are able to combine academic financial aid with atheltic financial aid.

NJCAA

There are differences between the 3 levels of NJCAA athletics when it comes to scholarship opportunities.  NJCAA Dvision I programs are allowed to offer full athletic scholarships while NJCAA Division II programs are allowed to award tuition, fees and books.  NJCAA Division III programs are not allowed to offer athletic financial aid.
